Yes. The extension has Meta's official WhatsApp Business API fully implemented inside it, alongside WhatsApp Web sending. You can run approved template campaigns through the official API and low-cost web campaigns from the same tool.

No. Installing the extension gives you both sending channels, and you can switch per campaign. The official API is also available as a standalone dashboard at business.wawcd.com if you prefer working outside the browser.

Use the official API when deliverability matters: approved templates, zero blocking risk, verified business messaging, and API access. Use web sending when cost matters most and you accept a higher risk of number restrictions.

For official API messages you pay Meta's standard per-conversation rates, which vary by country and message category. Web sending through the extension has no per-message Meta fee, which is why it is the low-cost channel.

Automating WhatsApp Web carries a real risk of number restrictions — that is why WAWCD is transparent about it and includes the official API in the same extension. For business-critical messaging, we recommend the official API channel.
